Ooh la la, it's the Allah-Las

The Los Angeles garage rockers head to Asheville

Thursday evening of this week will be a night to remember thanks to the Allah-Las coming to perform at The Grey Eagle. If you're unfamiliar with their sound, just know they're a living breathing time capsule of everything that was so great and mind-blowing about sixties psychedelic rock. Keeping with the sixties vibe, The Babe Rainbow will be opening up the show.

Everybody Dance Now

Local Natives bring the party to The Peel

Even on a chilly Wednesday night, the crowd was already warmed up for Local Natives. The delighted fans at The Orange Peel were already dancing and mingling as opener Little Scream took the stage. Laurel Sprengelmeyer aka Little Scream quickly worked the audience into a funky frenzy with her cool moves, expert guitar skills and overall amazing stage presence. After lifting everyone up with her extremely catchy tunes and messages of love, she bid the peeps adieu and headed backstage.

Welcome back Local Natives

The indie band gets set to rock the Peel

Local Natives are making their way back to Asheville and we couldn't be more excited. The last time we were graced with a performance was way back in 2014 during their tour for their second album Hummingbird. The Los Angeles based fivesome is set to hit The Orange Peel's stage yet again showcasing their cool brand of refreshing indie rock this Wednesday evening.

One wild Sunday night with Jimmy Eat World

The Orange Peel hosts the veteran rockers

It's no surprise that The Orange Peel's box office had a piece of paper taped to its window emblazoned with the words “Sold Out” on it for Sunday night's Jimmy Eat World concert. I mean, who doesn't like these guys? The presence of AJJ (Andrew Jackson Jihad) as the openers only solidified the sheer awesomeness that was going to be this show.

Robert Ellis and Courtney Hartman woo The Altamont Theatre

The two americana acts play a solid show at the downtown venue

The floor of The Altamont Theatre on Thursday evening was filled with people of all ages who were excited to see Robert Ellis and Courtney Hartman do their thing. The two musicians are currently on tour together and fortunately made a stop here in Asheville to share their talents. The overall vibe before showtime was laid back, but when Hartman walked up to the stage and the lights dimmed that all changed.
