Welcome back Local Natives

Welcome back Local Natives image

Local Natives are making their way back to Asheville and we couldn't be more excited. The last time we were graced with a performance was way back in 2014 during their tour for their second album Hummingbird. The Los Angeles based fivesome is set to hit The Orange Peel's stage yet again showcasing their cool brand of refreshing indie rock this Wednesday evening.

The band now has 3 studio albums under their belts, and each one truly manages to capture a perfect moment in time. Fans still get those dreamy harmonies and soaring melodies, but you can definitely sense a shift and growth with each new release. Their latest album Sunlit Youth has a seriously chill and polished vibe, but still maintains that perfect Local Natives sound fans have come to expect.

Having opened for acts like Kings of Leon in the past and gaining an impressive fan base in the festival circuit, it's going to be an incredible experience to see these folks headlining and giving us brand new material. Lively, rhythmic drumming and exceptionally refreshing guitar work set the band apart from many other acts in the genre. You'll be totally entranced and loving every minute of it. What can we say? These folks know how to put on one hell of a show.
