Thursday evening of this week will be a night to remember thanks to the Allah-Las coming to perform at The Grey Eagle. If you're unfamiliar with their sound, just know they're a living breathing time capsule of everything that was so great and mind-blowing about sixties psychedelic rock. Keeping with the sixties vibe, The Babe Rainbow will be opening up the show.

Like most great stories, it all started at Amobea Music on Sunset Boulevard back in 2008 where three of the four band members of the soon to be Allah-Las worked together. With their love and eclectic taste for garage and psychedelic rock they put their heads together to create a band that'd do it all. Their 2012 self-titled debut album put them on the map and they've been jamming ever since.

The Babe Rainbow will open the show in addition to opening your mind. The Australian rockers are most certainly in the wrong decade, with all of their songs kalidescoping into a transportive sixties psych sound that is familiar and fresh. If you've always wanted to feel what it'd be like to rock out during the Summer of Love, or even if you were actually there and want to relive it—this show is your ticket back in time.
