Tomorrow night at The Orange Peel, Foxygen will bring their classic-rock leaning experimental pop sound to the hearts and souls of Asheville. The duo is touring on their fourth studio album Hang which was released at the start of this year. Opening the show is Gabriella Cohen, an Australian singer/songwriter influenced by the fuzzy sounds of '50s and '60s pop.

Foxygen all started back in 2005 when multi-instrumentalists Sam France and Jonathon Rado got together to form a band that would combine their shared love of classic albums. Throughout high school, France and Rado self-recorded and distributed their homemade albums. It wasn't until 2012 that Fthe boys hit the big leagues by putting out their first official stuido album on indie label Jagjaguwar.

From The Rolling Stones to The Ramones, Foxygen has since gone on to play with and warp the sounds of classic rock acts to create their own brand of seriously solid music. With Gabriella Cohen opening up the evening, the night is just going to be one big party of warm and nostalgic songwriters playing their hearts out. Be there!
