This Thursday night the acclaimed Canadian collective known as Broken Social Scene will head back to The Orange Peel for the first time since 2010. This past summer they released their fifth studio album entitled Hug Of Thunder, it's their first album in seven years and one listen to it shows that they are fully back in action.

Founded in 1999, Broken Social Scene has gone through a host of member shakeups and stylistic changes, yet the one thing that has remained present at the core of the group is their ability to craft aural masterpieces that toy with ambient, pop, rock, and much more. On their latest album, they explode back into the spotlight dripping with bright rays of musical sunshine—ready to brighten the day of anybody who happens to listen.

Opening up the Thursday night performance are The Belle Game, an ethereal indie rock quartet hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia. Their new album Fear/Nothing just came out this month and is already making waves within the music world thanks to their dreamy production and enthralling execution. Make sure to head out to The Peel this Thursday night if you want to witness all of the amazingness in person!
