Asheville gets ready to get festive with the 2017 Christmas Jam

Asheville gets ready to get festive with the 2017 Christmas Jam image

It's been an Asheville tradition for years, and this go around for the 29th annual Christmas Jam is gonna be a big one. With a lineup that includes Gov't Mule, Ann Wilson, Trey Anastasio & Classic Tab, The Avett Brothers, Les Bros, Blackberry Smoke and more it's easy to see why people from near and far are so excited for this event.

For the past 19 years, the Christmas Jam has helped raise $2 million dollars for the Asheville area Habitat for Humanity. Dozens of families have benefited from Hayne's generosity and are now able to live in decent affordable housing. Right alongside the kindhearted core of the Christmas Jam, lies the unreal amount of musical goodness that always comes out of the event.

This weekend is going to be a chilly one, so attendees should plan on dressing cozy—even though once inside the US Cellular Center the music and good vibes should warm folks up too. The event is sold out as usual, with a small amount of first-come first-serve tickets being available for the pre-jam shows at Asheville Music Hall and One Stop. Get ready to jam Asheville!
