William Hinson + Chris Wilhelm & Friends

William Hinson is an pop singer-songwriter who originally hails from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He recently graduated Citing The Beatles, John Mayer, Ed Sheeran, and The 1975 as his biggest influences, William fuses catchy, relatable lyrics with feel-good compositions to create a sound that has landed him performance slots on radio, festivals, college campuses, and beloved regional venues such as PULP in the Orange Peel, The Mothlight, The Grey Eagle, and Cat’s Cradle. After recording his first EP “In Between” in his freshman dorm room, William began playing his one-man show at various venues throughout North Carolina. His biggest hits include "Parents", "Lovesick", and "Why Won't You Be My Girl?" Do you know your neighbors? Chris W. and Jacob were living on the same street and making their own music before meeting at a job. Sonic alchemist Chris C. was running high level experiments in the break room where the allegiance was formed. This is the result.

Chris Wilhelm has been chasing his music for the last sixteen years. With a journey that started in Hudson, NY to Boston, MA to Asheville, NC, he has written and recorded eight albums. His heartfelt folk rock is infectious and insightful.

In Boston, Chris’s Train’s Not Goin’ Slow album reached #4 at WERS and he performed constantly throughout the Northeast. His 2010 move to Asheville led him to his next project.

Highlights with former band The Wilhelm Brothers included recording EP Lay Your Burden Down (2013) and full-length CD The Sea of the Unwritten (2016) with Henry Hirsch (most acclaimed for his work with Lenny Kravitz and Madonna) and Rachel Alina (credits include Pink and Katy Perry), releasing live CD Like a Bird in 2014, opening for Pearl And The Beard (as trio Wilhelm
McKay), and receiving radio airplay as well as getting their own Pandora Radio channel. The Wilhelm Brothers performed 225 shows a year for three years.

Chris is performing solo for now, with no plans of slowing down. Chris is in search of like-minded creative musicians to join forces with.
